미국 심리학회(American Psychology Association)이 만든 논문 양식을 APA양식, 포맷이라고 부릅니다. APA인용방식과APA 스타일은 주로 사회학 페이퍼나 심리학 페이퍼에서 많이 사용하고 있습니다. 미국 학교에서 가장 흔히 쓰이는 MLA양식과함께 2대 논문 양식으로 잘 알려져 있습니다.

APA포맷 스탠다드 포매팅 중에 하나인 APA양식을 잘 갖춰써야만 좋은 점수를 받을 수 있습니다 APA포맷에서 폰트는 보통 교수가 정해주는데, 타임즈 로만이나 죠지아체, 그리고 아리알체를 대부분 많이 씁니다.

표지페이지는 위 처럼 페이퍼의 제목과 그리고 본인이 소속한 학교 이름과 수업이름 그리고 교수이름과 날짜이름을 위 처럼 차례로 적도록 합니다.

APA형식

APA는 레퍼런스 형식이 MLA나 하버드 시카고와는 다르니까 꼭 유의하세요. 먼저 작가의 이름을 적고 그 다음에는 마지막에수정 된 날짜를 적도록 합니다.

스탠다드 포매팅 중에 하나인 APA 는 다음과 같은 양식을 쓰고 있습니다.
